Rainy River High School participates in inter school and intra school sports. Teams such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton and others travel to area schools to compete. School reports will be filed on this page along with team pictures.

Owls Badminton Reaches New Heights
This year, Rainy River enjoyed it's most successful season ever on the badminton court. We sent 16 players to NORWOSSA, 10 to NWOSSA, and an astounding six to OFSAA. In the
process, our senior team captured the NORWOSSA team championship and the NWOSSA regional championship beating out dozens of teams from much larger schools. Both championships were a first in Rainy River's history. Our three senior teams will set out for OFSAA in Waterloo at the beginning of May to do battle with Ontario's best high school badminton players. We wish them the
