Brick by Brick Project (update March 27, 2007) 
Brick by Brick is a student committee, under the direction of Free the Children, working to fundraise $12,000 to build a school for children in Sierra Leone, Africa. Sierra Leone is a poor country, affected by war and poverty. Children of this country often do not get the chance to go to primary school. Many have even been fighting in wars as child soldiers instead of getting a basic education. As of today, the committee has raised $4,000 through a wake-a-thon, personal pledges and a pancake breakfast. We will continue to fundraise next year until we meet our goal.
